A Warm Welcome to our New Members
LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
I would just like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very happy
and healthy holiday season. I hope everyone has the time to enjoy with family
and friends and to reflect on how fortunate we all are. Despite the
governmental ups and downs I think everyone would agree that we've
had a great year here in Toronto and I wish you all continued prosperity and good fortune in 2007.
Hope to see you all next Thursday at the Dominion Club.

IETA CHRISTMAS CARDS
The IETA board has decided this year that in lieu of sending cards for the holidays
that we would like to donate $5000.00 on behalf of our IETA members to The Hospital
for Sick Kids Foundation. We will be sending out an ecard to all of our members
which you will be receiving in the next couple of weeks.

OUT OF THE COLD

What an evening!!! The IETA has made a $3,000.00 contribution to the "St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church
Out of the Cold Program". The board members presented the cheque to the program on Monday, November 20, 2006,
and then helped in the serving of dinner. The hot dinner included soup, sandwiches, choice of macaroni and
cheese or chicken pot pie, and for dessert, chocolate cake and ice cream. There was also an opportunity
at the dinner for the guests to visit a clothing boutique, offering them warm coats, pants and shoes.
The evening was extremely gratifying and humbling, with plenty of interesting and entertaining
conversations. A special thanks to Nicole Swartout for informing us of this great program.

IETA ANNUAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT - THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2007
JUST A REMINDER - The Annual IETA Bowling tournament will again be held at Bathurst Bowlerama on February 8th.
An email will be sent out in early January to commence registration but just as a heads up -
there will again be 15 lanes on a first come first serve basis but we will be offering one lane up
for auction this year with all proceeds going to charity, more details to come.
