CSTA IETA ANNUAL WINTER VENDOR FAIR - THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2007
The 2007 Annual Winter Vendor Fair was held at the Design Exchange in Toronto from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Toronto CFA Society Breakfast Educational Session at the National Club. The events proved to be very successful and we look forward to next year!!

IETA ANNUAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT - THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2007
On February 28th, the IETA held its annual Charity Bowling Tournament. We have held this event for many years now and it never fails to sell out quickly when we try to round up teams. We do apologize to those who signed up too late to field a team.
As a result of this great event we have raised $9000 which will be split this year between 2 very worthy charities. We will be donating half of the funds raised to the Bay Street Childrens Charity Foundation and half to The Hospital for Sick Kids Foundation in honor of Sean Delaney.
It really was a fun night with very competitive bowlers and a close race but we have
managed to emerge from the event with some new winners this year. The results are as follows:
1st Place – RBC (Darryl Mackenzie, Nicole Swartout, Brian Tsang, Troy Sloat,
AJ Gairdiner, Mark Horbal) with a score of 825 points
2nd Place - Canaccord (Bert Clarke, Robert McGroaty Paul Kilfoy, John Suczs,
Tim Hughes, Mike Smith) with a score of 792 points
3rd Place - BMO (Mike MacCormac, Andrew Mickelson, John Nelson, Dave Montreuil,
Dean Laser, John Kerrigan) with a score of 737 points
Overall best personal score goes to Mark Horbal with 180 points.

The date for the IETA Annual Spring Fling has been set for Thursday April 26th, 2007. The IETA will be presenting this very popular kick off to spring at the Brant House as everyone seemed to enjoy the location for the fall bash. So please mark your calendars, blackberries etc.. with this great event.

Due to popular demand we have elected to move the date for this event to a week later in order to accomodate all those writing the CFA exams. The AGM will be held at the Dominion Club on Thursday June 7th, 2007 and the Annual golf tournament will again be a morning shot gun start and will be held on June 8th, 2007 at Eagles Nest Golf Club. Registration details will be forthcoming.
Watch for Membership Renewal information soon!! Avoid the rush in the registration line up at the AGM.
