NASDAQ Invitations to January Events
NASDAQ Canada is pleased to present a “Doubleheader” in Toronto and
Montreal, January 15 and 16.
The first event will be a panel discussion on “SuperMontage.…from a
Trader’s Perspective” led by Dan Franks, NASDAQ’s Senior Vice President,
Technology Service Administration. Joining Dan will be Mr. Nick Karos,
Head Trader for U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
We hope this panel will offer traders an inside look at trade
execution and functionality, with a Q & A to follow.
Next, Erich Buckenmaier, Director, InterMarket, will give us an
overview of one of NASDAQ’s most fascinating trading platforms;
InterMarketSM - NASDAQ’s venue for trading NYSE- and Amex-listed
securities. Many Canadians don’t realize that InterMarket is responsible
for approximately 10 percent of total NYSE trading every day.
Our presentations – January 15th in Toronto and January 16th in
Montreal - will start at 5:00 p.m. and will end with light snacks and
cocktails at 7:00 p.m.
We hope you will be able to join us for what should prove to be a
very interesting and informative evening.
